A great bach in a perfect location, a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck each day looking out over the harbour. Very handy for the Albatross Centre and Penguin Beach and also exploring the peninsula. We liked the Penguin Café and also Ric's fish and chips, both in Portobello. We stayed for four nights but would love to come back for longer on our next trip to NZ.
Great home away from home. good blend of rural atmosphere as well as modern conveniences. a winding drive round the coast but not too far. Would recommend arriving early on first day to make sure you have enough light to locate the place and so you can take your time driving. would book again.
