The bad smell caused by mold and mildew building up in the conservatory and releasing foul gasses was not a welcome we really wanted on arrival. A combination of moisture, lack of air circulation (stagnant air), was the problem. We tired to air out the place after we arrived at 6pm, but the smell was still bad at 10pm. We stayed 2 nights and aired the place out, but the smell just wouldn’t lift. The place had been re-painted and was clean and tidy, but the mold and mildew needs to be addressed.
