Perfect property in an incredible location. Peaceful and relaxing on a pristine beach. The house had everything we needed. We did not need to use the car for 4 days as the house was so comfortable and there were great places to explore starting at the front door
The property is lovely and well equiped. We stayed here with two families very comfortably. It is very close to a lovely beach which is safe for young children but has a little wave which is fun and is just down the road from Sandy Bay for bigger waves. It is set in a pocket of native bush and has a nice outdoor deck with a bush and bay outlook. The driveway is steep and so we left our boat in the local camp ground at Tutukaka on recommendation and this worked really well.
This is a very very beautiful location, peaceful, lovely house. We enjoyed it very much. I only have two doubts - We chose not to sleep in the downstairs bedroom because it felt damp - upstairs no problem at all. And more generally - I find all baches in this area expensive... I guess that's just how it is, but I still find it a pity! (to contextualise - I paid 3 weeks of european rent for 5 nights, even though the owner was kind enough to offer a lower price because we were only 3 people)
