The property is well described, it is small but suited us well for our 3 night stay, the township is very quiet at this time of year, which we enjoyed
Doubtful Sound = Heaven on Earth.. need we say more? ;)
Room was neat, tidy and in quite area. But room was too small even you can't put your luggage in there. There was some cutlery but we didn't know what to do with that, because there wasn't any microwave to warm your food or fridge to keep your stuff, even no dishwashing liquid if you happened to use either of that. Almost 20km away from Te Anau so if you are coming from far distance, tired and hungry then you better eat something on the way. Its not a home away from home as a bach should be.
Our listing clearly states in the first two sentences that the room is small and has no cooking but breakfast facilities - hence the jug and toaster plus dishes which we wash for you. Dining options in Manapouri are pointed out with menus provided in the unit and the distance from Te Anau is stated as well. Unfortunately I was away for the night but communicated instantly with the guest who acknowledged he should have read the information clearly before booking.
As others have said, this unit is compact, but it is clean - tidy and has a good shower so it more than meet our needs for our one night stay whilst in the Fiordland region.
Clean, Neat, Cosy, peacefull, a liitle gem for overnight stay. Everything just as advertised
