Original kauri 3 bedroom , 2 bathroom bach extensively renovated by Australian artist Louisa Geddes who has her studio/gallery in the old fell boatsheds at the bottom of the garden.
The home is furnished with original art works and antiques. There is a galley kitchen with a dish drawer and gas hob. A wood burner is used in the winter months.
The Puriri Room has a 4 poster double bed, with an ensuite that includes a claw foot bath and bidet. There is a terrace entrance close to the sacred Puriri Tree in the garden.
The Harbour Room has a bay window with extensive water views and has an old fashioned iron 4 poster double bed.
The Mandarin Room has a three quarter small single bed and a view over Kohukohu Village.
The house comes with washing machine and all linens provided. Garden terraces create a paradise for local wild life. There is a driveway entrance from Kohukohu Road, and parking off Rakatapu Road in the rear. There is garden security lighting to provide safe access. This property is not suitable for wheel chair access.
Kohukohu is well known for being an artistic friendly community and a good central location to access many activities for an enjoyable holiday off the beaten track.
