Perfect holiday house at the peaceful idyllic Port Jackson beach, north of Colville. One of the only houses available at this amazing location - away from the hustle of everyday life. Renowned for its fishing and tranquility. Safe swimming beach (one minute walk away) and a freshwater river with numerous swimming holes just 100 metres from house.

Part of a working sheep and beef farm, so if you don't feel like relaxing there's always the farm to get involved in.

The house works really well for families and groups of friends, as well as a cosy getaway for couples. In winter the inside fire keeps everyone warm, and summer the outside fire pit is a great place to hang.

We can provide beautiful 100% cotton linen for an extra charge.

Room for tents and plenty of parking for cars, trailers and boats.

Port Jackson is at the very top of the Coromandel Peninsula, looking out to Great Barrier Island. You travel up the western side of the Peninsula to get to Port Jackson (opposite direction to Port Charles).

Special conditions: Minimum stay and pre payment over peak periods. Price is based on 2 adults. Extra person rate applies. Dogs outside by prior arrangement ($15 per night) Duvets and pillows provided. Bring your own linen and towels. Room for tents on lawn. Maximum of 15 people on property at any one time.

They really need fly screens on the doors as it gets very hot in the house and as soon as you open the doors you are swarmed with flies. Otherwise the house itself was great.

  • Amazing scenery being the passenger

Amazing scenery being the passenger .Being back in the woolshed brought memories of my childhood. Angus cattle grazing the hill and beach scenes peaceful to wake up to. House had every thing for our 2 night stay.

  • Couldn't be a better location

Couldn't be a better location. A long way away, but that just makes it even better. As a big group we booked out both the bach and shearer's quarters and both places were fantastic. Definitely a place we'll be coming back to, purely remote and so much to enjoy nearby.

  • Very clean and tidy bach, all amenities worked well

Very clean and tidy bach, all amenities worked well. Fire place was a huge bonus with firewood avaliable, wet back, so unlimited hot showers. Super close to the beach and short drive to fishing spots. Will definitely stay again.

  • Loved the area

Loved the area. It's not for people that need to be entertained. Great for people that enjoy getting away from it all!
