HI Kate Thanks for your on-line feedback to let us know. I really do wish that you had contacted me when you discovered this. As I noted when I sent your reservation voucher - "Please remember, if there is anything amiss or if there is something else that you might like our help with, esp. during your stay, please don’t hesitate to contact me." I would have asked the housekeeper to pop by to remedy this straight away. Or called in myself... :-)
The property is great but maintaining it for use as rented accommodation no longer seems a priority (for the previous or the new owner?). Wrong code provided to gain access, so a delay. House was dusty, especially window sills with dead flies all over them. Infinity gas had run out so the first night we had cold showers. No supplies in the kitchen - no milk, not one teabag or any coffee. Things needed fixing, the fireplace was full of ash and there were bags of rubbish left on the porch!
