Property perfect for a mixed group of Runners/Skiers to explore Ruapehu area. The log fire in the living area kept the whole property cosy warm and bedrooms kept their heat throughout the night.

  • The Red Villa is on the very edge of town, so maybe...

The Red Villa is on the very edge of town, so maybe too far to walk but has great views. It is not young child friendly - better suited to couples or families with older children. Our experience was OK but despite tidying and cleaning for hours on leave day, and leaving the place as we found it, we were blamed for things being broken or in the wrong place (pots, blankets etc...) - however we were the last of back to back bookings without inspections inbetween. We wouldn't stay again.

As this review is completely at odds with the majority of other reviews I am more than happy to talk to anyone about any concerns they may have.
