The property was very well cared for, clean, comfortable, and had lots of extras like basics in the pantry and a breadmaker (great to enjoy fresh focaccia with smoked salmon from nearby Twizel!) Highlight was the 2 hikes we did (Ben Ohau and Freehold Creek) - excellent views during and at the summit! Using the mountain bikes from the house we cycled part of the A20 track which was also great. Loved sitting by the fire with a book on the wet/windy days. It was such a beautiful week at Ohau house!
Treated to a week of perfect sunshine for our fourth visit - the view gets better each time. Sealy Tarns (Aoraki), North Temple basin (Ohau), Rocky Mtn (Wanaka), and more - but coming home each day to Ohau house was the real treat. More walks still to discover... we'll be back!
