Description

  • Stunning water and mountain views.
  • Private setting, surrounded by bush
  • An easy, picturesque walk to the village, or short drive to the surf beach

The Point House, looks out over Raglan’s inner harbour to Mt Karioi and can accommodate a total of eight people.

Bifold windows open onto the expansive deck bringing the striking view right into the house. Both bedrooms open onto decks along the front and side of the Bach.

The Sleep Out is a spacious open plan design with a comfortable queen bed, two singles beds and a lounge area.

The bach is situated a short 5 - 8 minute walk from the centre of Raglan. Alternatively guests can take the coastal path which follows the estuary into town. The estuary path can be accessed via the steps which start at the end of our deck.

“I bought a view…and the house came with it…” - Winston Churchill.

What a magical, tranquil sanctuary!!

Enjoy the deck with its panoramic view over Mt. Karioi and the inner harbour. Take the winding bush walk for a leisurely stroll around the water's edge. Listen to the gulls, Tui’s and Morepork’s while reading a book or flicking through a magazine.

The perfect spot for that romantic break away, or a place for the family to spend time.

The Point House is a characterful old New Zealand bach which shows its age but wears it gracefully. It is a shabby chic family bach, not a luxury resort.

The Bach is obviously loved by Its owner it's well cared for and beautifully decorated. It's in a gray location private and beautiful outlook but still close to the shops. Quintessential kiwi Bach charm but the next level

The bottle of wine on arrival was lovely. Point Bach is just what a Bach should be, characterful, cozy and inviting.

  • Fantastic location

Fantastic location. Beautiful views. Close to Raglan. Quaint and very appealing bach. Loved our stay, and would happily stay again. Unfortunately when we were there the TV and the BBQ did not work.

    Owner/manager responds:

Thanks for the lovely review. I have checked the TV and it is definitely working properly so not sure what the problem was there. Apologies re the BBQ, for some reason it was overlooked by the cleaners prior to your stay.
