  • This is a traditional Kiwi bach

This is a traditional Kiwi bach. It is not new by any means but it was clean and tidy and in the perfect location. We had a great time.

    Owner/manager responds:

The Bach was built in 2005 (only 12 years old). We are not sure why our guests thought it was going to be brand new. On the other hand it is certainly not an old bach.

  • Lovely location with awesome surf beach and the most beautiful estuary entrance

Lovely location with awesome surf beach and the most beautiful estuary entrance. Down on the jetty could see local Fishlife like stingrays and flounder cruising by gracefully. Bach lovely upstairs. Downstairs 3 beds suited to older teens maybe as no internal access. 5 kids had the longest monopoly game ever. Kept entertained. Lots of books to read too. Enjoyable stay thanks.

Great bach! In a great location far away enough from the busy whangamata area but close enough that you can nip into town if you need too. The kids loved fishing off the jetty - even caught a couple of kahawai for dinner! Opoutere beach is stunning and secluded which is what we were after. Loved relaxing on the sunny deck in the peace and quiet.

  • This bach is wonderful

This bach is wonderful. It really is a home from home. Beautiful walk to Opoutere Beach and a huge garden for the kids to run around in. 10 mins to Whangamata shops and cinema. We loved it.
