We especially welcome families; City Bach an easy place to stay in with a young family.

City Bach is a very comfortable 2-bedroom inner city apartment that can sleep up to 5 people. The master bedroom has a queen bed; second bedroom has a king single + a single bed. There is a single mattress for use on the living room floor.

City Bach has free wireless broadband internet & SKY TV (with 5 sports channels) & Freeview TV.

It is 15 minutes drive from Wellington Airport, 15 minutes walk to Wellington Railway Station, 20 minutes walk to The Stadium and 5 minutes walk to the City's beautiful waterfront & Te Papa. Is just over the road from the Michael Fowler Centre / Wellington Town Hall, & on the edge of the vibrant Cuba Quarter.

City Bach has a carpark in a building immediately behind the apartment building. The fee of $20 per night is payable prior to stay starting. Park is available from 3 pm on day of arrival to 11 am am on day of departure.

There are numerous great cafes & restaurants nearby. The apartment is above Felix Cafe. Step a 100 metres or so to the left along Wakefield St and you'll find yourself outside The Lido - fabulous food and vibrant atmosphere. Head into Civic Square (over the road) to find the lovely Nikau Cafe. Right next to it is the fabulous City Gallery - a must for art-lovers. Self-catering is very easy with two excellent supermarkets (New World Metro and New World Chaffers Street) within easy walking distance.

  • Perfect location at the bottom of Cuba Street

    Perfect location at the bottom of Cuba Street. Close to theatres & museums but being on the 8th floor quiet & private. Comfortable for the five of us with decent beds. The main bedroom has an orthopaedic mattress which was wonderful to sleep on. Two toilets a bonus when getting ready in the morning or evening. We stayed for three nights. Would definitely stay again.
