Bach or holiday home | Cable Bay | #18024
This magical position and very comfortable holiday home will make for special holiday memories. Situated on the cliff above Cable Bay, 323 offers 2 bedrooms in the main house and then a self contained one bedroom sleep-out. Expansive decking connects the two and the view is unbelievable from both. It’s almost like being on a boat but oh so much more comfortable. The main house has a large open plan living dining area with doors opening from both rooms onto the wrap around deck. The kitchen has a cafe style opening to dining area. The master bedroom (queen bed) has sliding doors again opening onto the deck. The second bedroom has a queen sized bunk with a single bed on top. A bathroom and separate toilet completes the house. Across the deck is the sleep-out with a queen bed and two king single bunk beds. There is combined bathroom/toilet as well as a small kitchenette and you will also find the laundry attached to the sleep-out. Sliding doors open to the deck again with spectacular views of Doubtless Bay.
Situated below the road on SH10 in a very private setting you hardly know you are not at your own piece of the coastline. Looking into the sandy pools below the deck you can watch the fish swim by or swim in yourself! This is a very special spot and one you will want to return to again and again.

Amazing view. Really good spot. Rooms were all big and spacious with really comfy beds and pillows. Beautiful spot up there
We had a fabulous time. The bach was nicely presented and had everything we required. Such a great location! Richard was very accommodating and even helped us with suggesting a beach nearby. We have a dog and there was plenty of sheltered space for him outside. Northland is beautiful and we took the opportunity to drive to Cape Reinga. We hope to come back!
A perfectly located marine property and the living areas and deck take full advantage of the wonderful seascape. We were lucky enough to be visited by a pod of Orcas on the first day. Exciting! We were also impressed by the property’s good internal layout, overall cleanliness and comfortable bedding. The kitchen had every gadget you could wish for and good quality credit crockery to match. There was a moment of trepidation from one of the party on the realisation that there was no internet but hey the Little Kitchen cafe at Mangonui has good wifi and serves great coffee too! It was also a great base to explore the Far North. All in all it was a wonderful holiday experience fully deserving 5 stars!
Wow! What a fantastic location and home... We had a fantastic stay. You just need to take your clothes and food, everything else is there.. Views are awesome and we were lucky to see a pod of dolphins and orca... My Family loved the private access to the beach... We would definitely stay there again ??
