Awesome Assassination Cove Bach aka Te Hue Bay, Russell. Gorgeous beach and bush setting for those family holiday getaways.

stunning location a really gorgeous spot thanks for sharing the bach the boat adds to the feeling of being away from it all great to be able to take out the kayaks too, explore the views from the hillside above the house memorable few days
Stunning location and amazing to have our own boat for the duration of our stay - so much fun exploring in it. Only being able to access the property by boat made it very exciting and feel like a real adventure holiday. Property was very clean and views and sunsets from the deck were amazing.
From the moment you arrive at the property, following a short boat ride, you feel relaxed. The views are stunning. The expansive deck is great for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The accommodation was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. We also popped in to Russell for lunch a couple of times, as it's about 20 mins away. A very enjoyable holiday. We hope to return!
The property has truly fantastic views and its setting and location make it a very memorable destination. We went with three young children and their Nana on holiday from the UK and all really enjoyed their stay. Something for everyone, clams, beaches, calm and quiet. The need to take the dinghy to the other side make the house seem a world away and add to the appeal and memories. Would love to go back and plan to.
My favourite bach ever. In Te hue bay in the Bay of islands (aka Assination Cove); drive 30 mins from Russell, meet owners at a locked gate, park down the road thru the gate, owners meet you in a dinghy, motor 5 mins to this scenic little bay, up a shell path thru bush to the owners bach; they then give you a guided tour of the bach, explaining everything, including introducing the neighbours, how to use their dinghy (yours for the stay), kayaks...FANTASTIC. We will be back!
