Bach or holiday home | Collingwood | #18390
Maple's Den is a quiet, comfortable and sunny 3-bedroom house just across the road from Collingwood beach. The open-plan living room and sunroom command expansive views over the bay where you can watch spectacular sunrises, interesting coastal birds and be mesmerised by the tide going in and out.
The house is on the coastal walking route to Milnethorpe and is just a short walk to the cafe, pub and shops in Collingwood village. Family groups have also applauded the well-equipped kitchen, good selection of DVDs, games and books and Sky TV with access to Sky Sports and Rialto channels.
Well situated for access to the Heaphy Track, and to explore Farewell Spit, Wharariki Beach and all that Golden Bay has to offer. Maple's Den is also very well suited for a comfortable winter escape, with a fireplace and good supply of dry firewood for cozy winter nights.

What's not to like about a house on the beach? Great deck and glassed in area to watch the sea while relaxing. Very comfy bed, good shower in good sized bathroom, well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area. Five minutes walk to town. Supermarket, well stocked. One pub, couple of cafes, (The Court House, is very nice and does pizza couple of nights a week otherwise shuts at 4/5. Mussel Inn, lovely pub half hour by car but worth it. Great place to stay would highly recommend, we loved it
We love the quiet of Collingwood and the bach is perfectly sited for walking to the cafe and Zatori. The night sky is a dream and evening walks on the huge expanse of sand were heavenly. the bach itself is beautifully presented and easy even with 6 adults occupying. We are return guests. It needs a compost bin or worm farm to reduce our rubbish.
