Comfortable, homely, roomy four bedroom Taupo/Turangi accommodation option with all amenities. Attached garage for storage with outdoor furniture and barbecue. Car port to keep the winter frosts off boats and vehicles. Warm and cosy fire for winter warmth. Electric and oil heaters for back up. Top quality bedding, including feather duvets and electric blankets for winter cosiness. Huge grounds for parking and playing games. Large flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD for the indoor days and nights.
Outstanding lake and river location. Best swimming on the lake- summers provide warmer water over extensive sandy shallows. Very safe for children. Bush and lake reserve boundaries. Peaceful and your own slice of paradise.
By some of the best fishing on the lake- in the lake straight offshore and in the adjacent Tauranga-Taupo River and close to the major Tongariro fishery and the mountain lakes of Rotoaira and Otamangakau. This is a year round fishery and the location provides access to outstanding fishing spots, including in the winter when the river runs of trout are at their thickest. Harling in the bay offshore is great in the spring, jigging and deep trolling in the summer in the lake in a wide range of local spots, stream mouth fishing in the autumn and winter at local river mouths- it just goes on and on. This is an excellent fishing location.
Boat ramp 200 metres down the reserve track. Motuoapa boat ramp and marina close by. Kaimanawa Forest Park access nearby at Kiko Road.
Close to the mountain for skiing and to the stores and cafes. Turangi 7 minutes away. The hot pools of Tokaanu 10 minutes away.
Local walks start from the house and it is close to river and mountain walks and biking trails e.g. The Tongariro River Trails. Many good boating and kayaking options in lake and rivers.
An absolutely unique site you will never regret visiting. Perfect for your holiday accommodation- 4 bedrooms will make a real difference to the quality of your stay..

Awesome Bach. Great location and a HUGE lawn for outdoor activities. Bach was beautifully and pristinely presented. Loved the homely feel and catered fully to our needs. We struck a very wet weekend but that did not deter us from having a fun time wakeboarding, jet skiing, fishing etc.... all on the back doorstep. Launched our boat at Motuoapa which is only 5 mins down the road. Have no hesitation in booking this Bach again. Thanks for letting us stay Peter.
