Property was clean and tidy. However more photos of the kitchen and living spaces would be helpful to give prospective hirers a better picture. I didn't find the property ideal as a ski Bach. The gas fire in the photos is not connected and the house is quite draughty. The wood burner heated the house fine, however we struggled to get ski gear dry overnight as we could not keep the wood burner going through out the night. Tira was lovely to deal with.
The comments about drying ski gear was helpful, I have added drying racks beside the fire and had the fire baffle replaced to make the wood burner hotter. Also added under-cover drying line in the carport. There was a new tumble dryer provided already. The gas fire was replaced with a much bigger capacity diesel fire. Of course the heat pump in the lounge keeps the lounge warm also. Warmth and comfort of guests is important.
Utterly charming! We loved staying here. It's like visiting the house of your favourite grand-parent, old-fashioned but very comfortable. Perfect for an extended family. A bit drafty but once you've got the heating going and closed all the curtains, it's lovely. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the beds are really comfortable.
