  • The property's living area was nice and spacious

The property's living area was nice and spacious. The bathroom was fresh and modern. The kids got to feed the chickens for the week and had fun collecting the eggs. The views from the property are lovely with the town beneath you and Tasman Bay in the distance. It is a pleasant 20 min walk into town, bit tougher coming back up the hill though. There is a great watering hole at the brook just at the bottom of the hill. Only gripe – the two single beds needed sprung mattresses not foam.

Lovely elevated views ocross the Maitai valley to the Centre of NZ and across Nelson to the Port. Easy walk down to Nelson CBD. We enjoyed eggs from the chickens and raspberries and plums from the productive garden. Lots of good living space.

  • Loved the views and position of Eagles Nest

Loved the views and position of Eagles Nest. Very comfortable and had everything we needed and we enjoyed looking after the chickens. Boys loved the location for mountain biking and it was an easy walk into town for the girls. But the views, wow.
