Five couples of our family meet every year . We are all in our 70s and take turns to organise the venue, food, and accommodation . Because I wanted to show them the Pureora Forest we chose The Rose Cottage as a central point. We were fortunate to catch up with the owners Kim and Dan beforehand and they were happy for our 5th couple to park their campervan on the lawn. Our first stop was Daphne's Museum. We did a trip to friends farm at Arapuni , including the fabulous Arapuni swingbridge, and a look at Bulmer's Landing and Arapuni Landing (lovely Camping spots). The totara Walk (20 mins) was the best bush we have ever seen. We had a picnic lunch in the sheltered
