Wonderful value .. one of the better homes we have stayed in well laid out, spacious and clean. Lots of linen and towels, kyack and snorkelling gear. The tea coffee sugar milk and water was lovely to find awaiting us. Then Nana arrived with beautiful flowers and fruit so special to be greeted by the owner ... We have been to Rarotonga 14 times and think the south of the island is the best area I would have given a five + stars if four of the five cockrels didn't wake us up at 4am one is enough??
Excellent location, fantastic for kids with great beach access from property, good snorkelling and use of kayak. Welcome fruit most appreciated. Only suggestion would be a little bit more cutlery (breakfast knives).
Bach is much larger than expected from viewing the online pics. Lovely big open plan kitchen, dining, lounge area. Large ranch sliders that open up onto a large well covered tiled deck. Truly fantastic indoor / outdoor living. Kitchen very well equipped with all that we needed. The beach in front is gorgeous...amazing snorkelling...saw turtles, large moray eels, puffer fish and hundreds of other beautiful of all types. We have stayed in Raro 4x now & rate this place 10/10!!!
The house was in an excellent spot right by the beach which we had almost exclusive use of most of the time. The house is as you'd imagine a kiwi Bach. Simple but comfortable. It was too hot for us so air con would have really helped but we did come in the hottest month of the year! There were plenty of fans so that provided some respite from the extreme heat. we toured most of the island and feel that this is best area in raro. The beach is excellent. Safe and beautiful, amazing snorkelling.
