  • Yala was our home away from home...

Yala was our home away from home. We entertained in the undercover area and did not suffer the mozzies like some other members of our family that stayed elsewhere. We found the property central to shops and we tried the coffee at the Love Cafe down the road (very good as were the coconut scones). We did main a little about the TV channels but then got over that and explored, swam, played cards and had a wonderful holiday.

Was handy to most attractions, and able to get bus to and from property. Carport great to store car and was great for hanging washing on days when rain was forecast. Light in toilet automatically turned off after a few minutes was hard to get used to. With four showers needed each morning, the hot water soon ran out. First in got a hot shower, but the stragglers had to have cold. Had to boil kettle sometimes to do dishes.
