Just along the road from the world-renowned Rotoroa Lodge.

Modern 3 bedroom holiday home. Decks on east and west sides for relaxed dining. One of the bedrooms has an antique brass bed (double).

Rotoroa is a wilderness lake. A peaceful, relaxing environment where there is no cellphone reception, and if you don't want to see anyone else, you won't. Walking (short or long; easy or hard), mountain biking, world class brown trout fishing (over 20 rivers accessible as day trips), kayaking, bird watching, photography, gold fossicking, boating (but no waterskiing or wetbikes).

Please note that this is not a ‘party house’ – we have neighbours who enjoy the quietness and wilderness aspects of this area as much as we hope you do.

Two spinning rods and reels available - bring your own lures, and don't forget you need a fishing licence. Also a fibreglass Canadian canoe (2 seater) with adult lifejackets - use the canoe at your own risk.

40' LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player. Sky dish - bring your own Skybox (all cables etc are there). No other TV reception, but there some DVDs.

No animals please.

And don't forget the sandfly repellent - sometimes they can be a bit annoying.

Special conditions:

Smoking allowed outside only.

Interior staircase has open steps - not suitable for young kids.

Two night minimum stay.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);

    Stunning location and great for outdoor activities! No mobile reception a little inconvenient, but reading corner and books make up for that. Kitchen could be better equipped, 2 single beds matrasses need replacing, but the rest very comfortable. BBQ facility could be improved on.
