  • Just returned from a wonderful 4 day visit

Just returned from a wonderful 4 day visit. Really enjoyed our stay in this delightful cottage - loved the location to town and the tranquil view. We found it warm, cosy and welcoming - everything my daughter and I needed to relax and study for her exam! Shower is great now! Would love to bring the rest of the family for a holiday another time. Many thanks for sharing your cottage in beautiful Akaroa.

    Owner/manager responds:

The sleep out is rarely used in winter and all bedding kept in main house during that time. It may have been the first time used since winter. The room may well have needed airing but there is no dampness in the room.

The property is close to the shops and waterfront and was beautifully presented - clean and fresh throughout. Lovely duvets and plenty of heating options. The steps to the back door would be challenging to older folks. The bunkhouse is separate to the house and is a bit musty so not good for asthma sufferers. Overall a very sunny, comfortable, well equipped house which I would recommended.
