  • A very pretty little cottage

A very pretty little cottage. Loved the back garden and location to the waterfront, cafes and shops; we walked everywhere. Inside was very clean and also lovely just abit concerned about the mice/rodent noises we heard at nighttime. This made me very uncomfortable. I was abit disappointed about this, and thought I needed to mention it so you can fix this for future guests. However I loved having the church next door, that was a nice surprise.

    Owner/manager responds:

Thank you for your comments Eleanor. Pleased you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately with the gradual demolition of the old cottage next door there has been some activity. We have bait laid and the building has gone so this should do the job.

  • Great location and charming property

Great location and charming property. Back yard was sunny and sheltered; a lovely spot. Liked the kitchen and bathroom facilities, found the master bedroom very comfortable (liked the window that opened). Lounge and dining areas were dark. House became stuffy quite easily. It was always better for being aired out after a few hours away.

  • A fantastic little cottage

A fantastic little cottage. Great location, super close to everything yet feels private as it is tucked away behind trees. Lots of character. Only flaws were that it is very stuffy in the rooms on hot nights as the windows don't open, and the main bed really needs upgrading. If the bed was replaced we would definitely stay there again.
