House has all the basics one expects, a big deck and really stunning views. Very quiet, private location. Only criticism is that hot water was a bit insufficient for 6 people to shower. Thanks for a lovely weekend at your bach, I would consider staying here again.
The house had plenty of living area, an excellent deck with BBQ and a fantastic view. A pleasant stroll down to the town centre (5-10mins). Beds were very comfortable. Would stay there again although the driveway is a little tricky (could do with widening the entry area). My family enjoyed our stay.
Lovely house brilliant views and very well equipped. Someone else had criticised house for too many family photos, we disagree, they were appropriate and not OTT. Our concern was water: the first night the water was cold and we couldn't shower. (Next 2 nights it was a Chch city council issue and apparently common for Akaroa). So if you want to be on the hill with great views then you may have a compromise. Was not a reflection on this particular property, neighbours also had no water.
