The house itself and it's aspect was fantastic - we loved the 'tree-house' appeal and the bird life. We were however disappointed with the cleanliness and state of disrepair of the toilet/bathroom/shower. The shower cubicle cladding is rotten down at bottom and was also very grimy. The room itself smelled very musty and of urine! Password for internet wifi would have been useful and curtains in the main bedroom would have been appreciated. We had a lovely stay despite these issues.
Great location, good view of harbour. Beach access at end of drive where kids tied kayaks up for the duration so no need to put on car or drag down to the beach. The place is quintessential 70's decor, a classic bach that has everything you need but in need of TLC. However a gas BBQ would be highly desirable. We walked into the village everyday for coffee and to grab a baguette from the French bakery.
the location of the bach was fantastic....the bach itself felt tired and in need of some repair. The water cylinder in the bedroom would make a lot of noise at regular periods during the night and this disturbed both of us. Having a number 209 on the lamp post would have helped us locate the house easier. However the bach was well equipped with everything we needed, great having no tv or internet access.
A bad review had me hesitant about our booking but this place was just what we wanted! It's a sunny ,private split level bach with a wooden, handmade 70's-80's vibe that we appreciated. The access would be too steep for those with mobility issues ,the only negative thing really. We found it clean, well equipped, close to the township and with stunning views.Excellent value for money
