  • The setting is nice being amongst the trees

The setting is nice being amongst the trees. Very clean and tidy. The warning of mosquito's put us off and caused us to not leave the windows/door open (although great effort had been made to fight them off by host with trap, spray, and plug in). Although only just a few spotted it still made for unease (I hate mossies in a bedroom). Fly screens would have helped hugely as being closed up made things stuffy. Can get awkward with nowhere to place things.

If you're after a peaceful stay on Waiheke, Cabin A is the place, a 10 min walk to shop/bus, 15 min to beach. The cabin is cosy and the shady deck is great for dining. My friend slept in the loft which she said was very comfortable. I slept on the futon as i have a disability and couldnt manage the ladder up to the loft. The cabin had all the comforts of home, even excellent water pressure in the shower. I would recommend cabin A to anyone looking for a value for money holiday.
