Not much we liked at all. We didn't know the owners would be living above us and you could hear them moving around along with guests in the unit next door. Lost of garden but no real privacy. Even your courtyard is open to other guests and the owner walking past. Very little lighting. No light at all in the courtyard for being outside at night to gt away from the heat. Just lucky it was only between 20-25 or we would have cooked as the sun beat on the roof made it like a sauna/glasshouse.
We have been letting our apartments to satisfied guests for 11 years. None of our advertising has ever suggested water views. Guests' happiness is vital to us. Our living area is set forward on poles, so ground-floor rooms have a high stud and private, yes, private courtyards. In record El Nino heat, fans are supplied, and guests have the option of the barbecue and dining area (well-lit!) under the deck on the cooler seaward side. If extra lighting was wanted, these guests had only to ask.
