Far enough off the busy Lake Hayes road to not be bothered by road noise. The Lake and walkway just a few metres away and the historic stone barn is very comfortable and well equipped. Justifiably awarded Bronze Best Setting Bach 2015. Free WiFi was great and everything needed for a great family holiday is provided. Location was key factor in our decision to stay at The Barn and we were not disappointed. Thank you for the use of The Barn.
This was the second time we have stayed at The Barn and loved it just as much as the first time. It's as good in winter as in summer - maybe better because we had the fireplace! The location is fantastic and the place is exactly as it appears in the pics.
We loved our stay at the Barn at Lake Hayes. It was 3 night stay in March as part of our honeymoon on the South Island. Brilliantly located close enough to Queenstown for all the activities etc. but in a quiet idyllic setting with stunning views over Lake Hayes. The Barn itself was amazing and beautiful presented with all the amenities you could want including WiFi, BBQ, laundry and a spacious kitchen. The rooms were lovely and we can't say enough about the setting. Hope to be back Dan/ Anna
