Bach or holiday home | Kuratau | #22503
A beautiful little bach ideal for honeymooners or couples looking for that quiet weekend away. Close to the lake and boat ramp.
Hot pools and gourmet restaurants near by and the Omori store 2 minutes away.
Perfect for ski season with Mount Ruapehu less than an hour away.
Lots of trout fishing opportunities with the world famous Kuratau trout stream just up the road.
While there is a wall heater and a oil heater it can be cold in winter so please bring a small fan heater if you feel the cold. The bach is a studio so suits couples or small families only. As such the hot water heater is not huge so long showers are not possible.

Please enjoy and look after this much loved family bach.

You get what you pay for. I didn't have any instructions but found the place with a bit of luck. The neighbours filled in the rest. Tiny place, cosy and clean enough, but basic. Nice location but we didn't stay long. I wouldn't stay there again but recommend it for budget, down to earth travellers.
It's a little single room unit with a small bathroom. Very good value for money and absolutely stunning location, right next to the lake. It was tidy and clean. I would recommend bringing your own bedding if you can and Mary suggested bringing a small heater which I will fully endorse, it can be a little nippy at night (I stayed tail end of March). It was exactly what I needed and if you're looking for a small little place with a great location - this is it!
