  • Stand alone, private, easy care, off street parking, Airport 20-30 min direct drive.

You can sight see with an hours walk by wandering

- the many walkways through the parks, volcanoes, gullies on the way to the museum - Parnell Markets - Ponsonby shopping - Waterfront to catch ferries to Devonport, Waiheke. Stroll along Tamaki Drive to Kelly Tarltons - Mission Bay - Kohimaramara - St Heliers. Meander along all the beautiful streets with lovely old homes. there are no bad areas every street is of interest and has lovely homes views, parks.

, have a coffee and return by a different route.

Central to Auckland's best, whether it be for sight seeing, visiting family, sick in hospital, enjoy a family wedding or just enjoying the many sights in beautiful Auckland. All the above also on handy bus routes and a reasonable taxi fare, if you are not into walking.

The cottage is across from a Park on lovely Portland Rd, leading to many of Aucklands sights. Set Off the road with plenty of off street parking, it is compact with a lovely lower level sitting room / TV snug, entrance area with dining table off to the side that can seat up to 10, this all leads to the north facing private deck with outdoor dining area and umbrella with outdoor heater. small compact kitchen with all the facilities necessary for a family.

Upstairs the double master bedroom faces west with a balcony and ensuite,

a single bedroom with desk facing north (with room for a cot) and a guest queen bedroom and separate bathroom. All with lovely sunny leafy outlooks

Special conditions: Linen and cleaning charges compulsory $130 per stay of approx 7 days NB access to property is a bridge over a creek, something to be wary of for small children who will need to be watched.     The house is very cosy and well furnished with antiques, It is like staying in your own home. Location is good, easy excess to shops and cafe. Also not far from Newmarket and Remuera Village. Quiet area too.

    The Bach on Portland was fabulous! the location is perfect for moving around the city and main shopping areas. The suburb is quiet, ideal for holidays and the house was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Makes you feel totally at home! Totally recommended!
