A wonderfully cosy cottage set in a beautiful part of NZ. We got lucky, waking up to snow outside the front door on our first morning. The fire providing a lovely refuge. Just minutes from world class wine (and a cracking brewery) and a short drive to Arrowtown for plenty of food options. The owners Lisa and Matt were totally lovely and welcoming. For a unique stay in a characterful property in an epic landscape your search stops here. Enjoy.
An amazing place to stay and experience a part of history while enjoying the modern conveniences. We had a roaring fire going, a glass of wine, surrounded by amazing stonework and a view of horses playing in the distance amongst the autumn colours till the sun set. We then were able to go outside and gaze at all the stars as there were no intruding lights. A magical place to stay. Thank you to the hosts for such a great experience and all the help over our stay.
Fabulous location. Peaceful and quiet away from the road and on a lovely private lifestyle block. Horses, sheep and fruit trees over the fence. Close to all the wineries in Gibbston and minutes from Arrowtown. Bicycle tracks and the river make for a fun day out and the bikes are free to use. Lots to see and plenty to keep you busy, come back and relax! Perfect!!
