The property is well equipped, clean and spacious. We popped the heaters on when we arrived and it warmed up very quickly. Well equipped kitchen, brand new toilet and bathroom and fantastic hot water pressurised shower for after skiing. Didn't make use of it, but there is a spacious drying room which would be great if skiing more than one day. Wifi, fire and beds great for teens staying. Will return -on their request as well as parents !!
House was clean and sunny and generally at great place to stay. However the reason we booked this place is because it was "toddler safe". this was not the case with a poor fireguard and fireplace area that could be easily tripped over. Also, the garden was a massive disappointed as although fully fenced, it had random building material piles all over it, a very questionable area of long grass and junk out the back and a pond, so we the toddlers had to be supervised at all times
This was our second stay at this holiday home and it was just as cosy and comfortable as we remembered it from last time. It's the perfect place to come back to after a long day on the slopes, the fire puts out tonnes of heat so you're toasty and warm in no time!!
It is located at the heart of Ohakune and the best part is you can see the magnificent Mt.Ruapheu from the living room and bedroom. The Bach has got a big lawn. The entire house is very well maintained and has almost everything that you would need in your home for daily use. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an accommodation for a group of 4-10 people.
