Bach or holiday home | The Catlins | #2333
A traditional, cosy and warm self contained three bedroom crib in a quiet peaceful setting at Pounawea in the Catlins.
'Please Note: Our Crib is not perfect, hence its very nature as a crib. Please therefore expect a crib, not a motel or hotel. Two of the bedrooms are accessed off the main bedroom so this may not suit everyone. We have done our very best to represent our crib fairly and accurately in the description and the photos.'
Relax while listening to the call of tui and bellbirds in the native bush that surrounds the crib or take a stroll down to the waters edge only a two minute walk and watch the ebb and flow of the tide or perhaps hire a kayak and explore the estuary or river. There is also a great children’s playground for the kids.
Pounawea is only five minutes to the township of Owaka where you will find a Four Square, Garage, Pub and a great Museum and Visitors Centre – The Crib in the Catlins is the ideal location for you to base yourself to discover the beautiful Catlins.

Lovely wee Bach! Love the coal range and the whole setup, waking up listening to the birds and so close to the sea. With a great wee garden/bbq area. I will definitely be back :) thanks for a providing such a wonderful place to stay never wanted to leave
