  • Quiet and private location with beautiful gardens surrounding the large deck

Quiet and private location with beautiful gardens surrounding the large deck. Good view of Golden Bay at the base of the garden. Close to several long beaches that would stroll along. Lots of windows made for a bright and inviting interior. Centrally located to the various tourist sites.

The location was excellent and the use of the kayaks was good. The house was a little small and the 2nd bed was not really what we expected. A shower would be a good addition to the bach,

  • The views and locations are just great

The views and locations are just great. It was an absolute treat looking out over the water - tide in or out - as the bird life was prolific and the beach/sand was so easy to walk about on. The owner made the bach very homely in its retro style which was fun to settle into and enjoy Pakawau, Farewell Spit and other surrounding beautiful places of interest. Thanks!

Comfortable house on the beach with lovely views of the tides and wading birds. Enjoyed sitting on the deck or in the garden and walking the sands at low tide. The owner had very thoughtfully put a real Xmas tree in for us and some lights and decorations to make it homely! Walked a lot up at Farewell Spit and Wharariki beach and the climb up Knuckle Hill is well worth it for 360 views. Shame the internet hasn't yet reached Pakawau though.
