We offer an environmentally-conscious yet luxurious escape, and a unique opportunity to share our private 10 acre paradise. Explore 10 acres of regenerating native bush, using "Sheila's Track" down to and across the stream. Enjoy nature at its best, plenty of peace and quiet, enjoy the bird-life.

Easy access to the wild West Coast of Auckland with its beaches and walkways. Take a 10 minute drive to dramatic Bethells Beach, with its towering cliff-tops, blow-holes, sand dunes and sea caves; coastal walks, including a 15 minute walk along the beach to stunning O'Neils Bay (the local surf spot); Visit the Cascades Kauri Park, views of Auckland, Putamatekeo summit; Arataki Visitor Centre is a 25 minute drive; enjoy the collection of lovely bush walks throughout the Waitakere River valley and up through Scenic drive, including waterfalls and stunning views; Goldie’s bush walk (1 hr return walk to Mokoroa Falls); the Waitakere Tram line to enjoy a scenic ride through the Waitakere Ranges; the striking sand dunes and swim in the land-locked Lake Wainamu; the regionally-significant Te Henga wetland – the largest in the region and former Maori Pa site and view the stunning Waitakere dam, source of the majority of Auckland's water.

Special conditions: You will be self contained, afternoon tea supplied on your arrival, and in the fridge will be all ingredients to cook your own breakfast when you want it. One of the decks (at the rear) is high and unsuitable for small children which is why we suit adults and young adults only.
