As well as the Botanic Gardens and the spectacular coastal landscape, other attractions include the historic Dunedin Railway Station, and reputedly the world’s steepest street, Baldwin Street, which runs an annual downhill race.

The world famous Taieri Gorge historic rail journey shouldn't be missed. Also visit the Chinese gardens. The harbour, a popular place for kayaking, rowing, windsurfing, fishing and yachting, the Botanic Garden's 28 hectares of trees and park-land (with Aviaries) is located close to central city, and is a popular lunch time venue with locals and visitors.

The city centre hosts a modern public art gallery housing one of New Zealand’s best international art collections, Theatres, Museums and Libraries which rank among the country’s finest.

This is a great place to visit while traveling, holidaying, or for a relaxing get-away. Our cottage is also ideal for business trips or job relocations.

We loved staying at the Albion Cottage, it was comfy, private and had everything we needed for our stay in Dunedin. It took us a little while to get the heaters going and it would have helped to have a guide to the house, heating, wifi connection etc but in the end we worked it all out.
