Bach or holiday home | Clyde | #24869
More than just a bed for the night, Peekskill is full of history, colour, art, books, movies, games and toys. While the house is old, it is light, airy and spacious with all new appliances, beds and bedding so you can experience the best of both worlds.
The fully fenced section boasts inviting outdoor spaces - a formal Victorian garden full of roses and lavender, the established orchard where you can soak up the Central sun in privacy or dine al fresco under the shade of the old pear tree while the kids bounce on the ground level trampoline.
There is plenty of parking under the huge walnut trees at the back, where you can also play petanque.
Queenstown and Wanaka are only an hour's drive away and closer by are many other attractions eg vineyards, goldfields heritage, conservation parks, alpine meadows of the Old Man Range, mountain biking areas, the new bike trial down the Roxburgh Gorge, Lake Dunstan and the Highland Motorsport Park in Cromwell.

Beautiful old house perfectly situated in Clyde, two doors down from the convenience store and easy walking to the small town centre. House had all the amenities we needed and more again to make for a very comfortable stay. The garden is absolutely lovely. Great place to stay for a group of couples or families with young kids.
Peekskill is a lovely place to stay. It was fantastic to read about the history of the house including photos and different ornaments that decorate the property. It was amazing to be able to pick apricots straight off the tree to have for breakfast. The garden was beautiful to sit and have meals in. To be located just down the road from the shops was great. Whilst it is on the bit more expensive side, to celebrate my 40th there was brilliant and pure luxury.
Everything about Peekskill was perfect! Stunning detail, just beautiful. I got ready at Peekskill the morning of my wedding and the photographer was in an absoutle dream with so many gorgeous backdrops. Also amazingly comfortable and homely.
