The bach was a treat to stay in, very secluded with great bird life and a lovely view of the sea from the covered deck. The interior is actually more spacious than it looked to us in the photos. The 2 burner cooker and little convection oven were fine for holiday cooking. The drive was no problem for our AWD vehicle, if it was wet we would definitely have needed it for the turning area. A very enjoyable stay.
Beautiful area, lovely basic place to stay- very spacious and wonderfully private. The only drawback was the hot water cylinder was not on when we arrived, and did not heat up over the two days we were there. However, it didn't matter too much as the weather was perfect!
Entirely my fault for not researching enough - bach on steep hill, far from rocky beach, not easy to get back up hill after walk!! driveway absolutely horrendous, our 4WD got seriously scratched, being a big car, difficult to manouver in space behind house. Puzzles, games, etc awesome. Water pressure terrible. NO microwave/beanbags/BBQ/full oven. Kids beds were mattresses on floor. Seriously OVERPRICED. Huge ant problem, not in kitchen. We still had a great break away.
We’re really sorry to hear your car got scratched; it is a narrow driveway for a big car. Beanbags were away being cleaned and the bases for the beds are currently on the deck as seating. No microwave, but there is a benchtop oven and a portable convection oven. Glad you enjoyed your stay anyway.
