'Waiheke House', is a dedicated holiday home conveniently located in the heart of Oneroa. It's an easy stroll to Oneroa Village, to enjoy the beach, cafes, restaurants and wine bars and gather all your holiday supplies (butcher, grocer, cellar) or for movies, theatre and library.

Although close to vibrant Oneroa village, Waiheke House is in a quiet leafy road, offering the best of both worlds. Cable Bay and Mudbrick vineyards are within walking distance. The beautiful beaches of Oneroa, Little Oneroa and Blackpool are minutes away. The passenger ferry is a convenient 3 minute drive away. A bus stop is around the corner, to explore the rest of the island.

Waiheke House is an updated 1970's bach, well appointed with modern furniture and appliances, on two levels connected by an internal staircase. There is a lounge, bathroom/toilet, and two bedrooms on each level. The layout of the bach is popular for two families, couples, or for girls weekends away. Waiheke House is very convenient for guests attending weddings at nearby vineyards.

Both lounges have T.V., Freeview and wifi. The downstairs larger lounge has Netflix, Smart TV, internet and an Ipod player. The two queen rooms, on each level, have direct access to outdoor living spaces. The single room has a single bed with pull out bed for small kids and upstairs in the second room is a double bed.

Cooking and dinning options include the large all weather outdoor lounge with sofa, chairs, a table with benches and large BBQ. Inside is a 6 seater table (extra seating on the couch) with a kitchen that includes new oven, fridge, plus microwave and basic pantry items. A small balcony off the kitchen, provides an additional outdoor space to relax in. The laundry room has a washing machine, and iron/board. A Portacot is provided along with two boxes of toys and kids books.

Waiheke House is owned and managed by Waiheke Island based owners.

Special conditions: Waiheke House can accomodate up to 7 guests/adults + 1 extra child (free of charge, shorts stays only and to be confirmed on enquiry thanks). A $350 bond is required with each stay and is refunded promptly. Waiheke House has a no party policy.

    Fantastic property! We were warmly welcomed by Bruce who gave us the grand tour and instructions for wi-fi and TV etc. Nice 10-15 stroll to shops and beach. Well equip and everything was nice and clean and beds were really comfortable. The only negative was that access to the single bed (4th room) is through the main queen bed room. So something to think about if you're needing 4 separate rooms. Perhaps it's noted somewhere but I didn't realise this. Thanks heaps, we had a brilliant time!!

    Clean, tidy and comfortable. Room for all and having the two levels with two bathrooms allowed plenty of space for everyone. Location of property was easy 10 minute walk to Oneroa shops. Close to buses, taxis and ferry. Will definitely be back.
