  • Was worth the hike just for the view

Was worth the hike just for the view. Didn't realise was so far from Akaroa, but wasn't a problem. Was a very relaxing place to be and the sheltered patio was ideal. Had a windy day but still managed to sit on the verandah. Would recommend for a quiet getaway, perfect for the couple that want to be alone. Sorry were no donkeys, love donkeys, have 2 of my own!

  • Great little place

Great little place. Had everything required in the kitchen and house. However it was very cold- the only source of heating was a heat pump- the reason why we left a day early. Would be good to get an additional heater in the winter upstairs. This place has very steep spiral stairs, so although perfect for adults looking for a getaway, not ideal for small children.
