I loved the cottage being outside of the Akaroa township. It was so quiet and peaceful, with lots of bird song, and it was pleasant walking along the quiet road in either direction. The beds were comfortable, the appliances modern and the view was lovely. I would definitely stay again.
The property is in a stunning location about a 5 minute drive out of the town and is comfortable and well equipped. The path down to the cottage is not well lit and was uneven so was quite tricky to negotiate even with the torch that was provided. It would have been a lot easier with something to hold on to such as a hand rail or rope.
