Bach or holiday home | Red Beach | #25694
Large family home in Red Beach, north of Auckland including a Master bedroom, queen room, twin room (single with trundler), single room and basement set up as a double though can accommodation air mattresses (not provided) as well. Great for one large or two families as lots of bedding options!
The master bedroom has an en-suite and the three other bedrooms are off a second lounge at the top end of the house. The basement has a double bed and toilet, but there is no internal access (stairs are external/uncovered), so best suited for adults or older children as a bedroom.
The modern kitchen, dining and main lounge are open plan creating a great family space, leading out onto the expansive decking. The house has fantastic sea views and is only a 10 minute walk to a safe and patrolled (from Oct-Apr) beach, with a small community surf club offering Friday night meals and a Sunday morning brunch. Just around the corner is a nice park and playground and two minutes drive down the road is a small block of shops with the basic necessities.
The house is set on approx 1000sqm and fully-fenced so there is lots of space for the kids to run around. A trampoline and sandpit are also in the front yard with easy visibility from the house for younger ones. Plus a two person spa is available to use on request if you'd like to use it.
Red Beach is only a 5 minute drive to Orewa where there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and a couple of nice pubs/bars to enjoy a meal or few drinks in the sun. Locally there is loads to do - highlights being Waiwera Hot Pools (spas, waterslides etc), Snowplanet and boat trips from Gulf Harbour (Tiritirimatangi Island a must-do). Auckland City is a 30min drive away to the south for a huge range of activities (see

Perfect for families - we stayed here with parents, three adults "kids" and partners. Plenty of space for everyone and clean and comfortable. An easy walk to a great park and the beach. It was an easy drive to the National Aquatic Centre for the competition I was in town for, and public transport was easily accessible. Great location for exploring Northland and the Twin Coast touring route. The house is well set up for those travelling with young children too.
This is the second time we have stayed at this property. For us it is great because as a family we can all stay there and it is much easier than staying at a hotel. There's heaps of space for the kids to play inside and out with a number of parks within walking distance. The facilities are fantastic, the view is beautiful and we would definitely recommend this property to other families looking for somewhere to stay!
