Very kind and accommodating hosts, lovely comfortable accommodation with many interesting and quirky old items on display. Verandah screened by fragrant roses, perfect for sitting out and having a quiet cuppa or glass of wine. River at the bottom of the slope with walks and bike trails. Owners live in adjoining accommodation and share the laundry, but otherwise private.
Quite location being located on a No Exit road. Ideally located for exploring the new Wakatipu Trails as they can be accessed from the front door literally. We did 112km in two days and seeing the Ferry Hotel was a very welcome sight at the end of the days cycling.
