The property is very centrally located, was clean but dusty. Pleasant enough environment. Negatives for a family, no off street parking for rental on extremely busy road, their was a crash right outside. Road noise in the front bedroom was prohibitive. No chilly bin or similar, no DVD player or similar, no outside space to play for kids. Floors squeak very loudly, furniture not comfy. Well priced comparatively, would not recommend for family, historic home enthusiasts dream.
There is wide safe parking right outside the cottage and guests have parked there without incident for the last 12 years including this guest with her little rental car. There was a crash during her stay but it was 500metres along the road and her rental car was totally unaffected. The cottage is acoustically insulated to prevent noise. We don't provide a chilly bin or coollie bags because most guests that require them bring their own, don't know any other holiday house that provides them.
