Kitchen well equipped, house had a great central location, manager was very easy to deal with. Water pressure was terrible though.
Worried that the deck wouldn't hold up, was in a bad state of repair. With littlies the holes in the deck posed an attraction so covered with mat from indoors. Were warned about the low water pressure but goodness me, playing the taps got a result, not a good one but a quick shower turned into a looong shower with most time spent trying to get a good balance between hot and cold. Previous 'residents' didn't do a very good cleaning job, least of all dusting. Moved a bed to vacuum underneath, dust was very thick, obviously not been done for ages. Some powerpoints not working, security lights not working. However, all that aside I found it very homely and quite enjoyed tidying the place up to our standard. We would return if accepted!
We enjoyed our stay. You will especially enjoy it if you enjoy historic homes. The house had everything we needed as well as interesting character.
Well appointed, clean cottage. Close to town on a quiet side street
Very neat. Clean. Cozy.
