Cottage | Greytown | #25867
Minimum 2 night stay at weekend ( Fri and Sat nights) single night at other times.
Central to Greytown and set at the back of our section surrounded by fruit trees, ornamental trees, shrubs and flowers, Shy cottage is an original1880's cottage full of character with quality furnishings and artwork; insulated and warmed in the cold weather by a wood burner and on sunny days by sun.
We live on site in the front cottage with our dog and cat, both are friendly but not allowed in the cottage. Also on the section is Shy Apartment, which also sleeps 2 so both could be booked if there are 4 of your needing accommodation. The grounds include a pond and the pets are not used to children therefore we do not take children.
A fantastic location to explore what is on offer in Greytown, food, clothing, antiques and niknaks in abundance or across the Wairarapa, as Greytown is very central to all Wairarapa has to offer, beaches, wineries, olive groves, tramping, shopping and general relaxation.
What could be better than staying in a romantic cottage and spending your days exploring and feasting!

An amazing wee cottage in the heart of the Greytown village. My partner were blown away by the quaintness of the cottage and would not hesitate to stay there again. I always find it nerve raking on what to expect when booking on here but there was not an ounce of regret when we arrived. Very clean and tidy, private with a beautiful outdoor area in which to have a morning coffee. Loved it
