We absolutely loved our stay at Ruffins Bay, what an idyllic quiet corner of the world. A very special location for a weekend away from the hustle bustle of life, and only a short drive to Coromandel town. The Bach is basic, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and it's elevation provides a beautiful outlook across the bay.
This bach is in a wonderful location, however, inside it is old and small. Four adults was a crowd, the kitchen was well stocked but hard to navigate and the sink a nightmare as it was held up by 2 wine bottles. The second bedroom was too small for the bed with no room for anything but sleeping. No room to change clothes and no hanging space or even a small area for a suitcase. The room downstairs was unhabitable due to mould, rising damp. barbeque so dirty it took 1 hour to clean.Too expensive
