  • Beautiful, peaceful location under the mountain, right beside the National Park

Beautiful, peaceful location under the mountain, right beside the National Park. The fire was cosy, the cottage was clean, well-kitted out, had comfortable beds, and the local takeaways were top class.

  • Fantastic location so easy to get up the mountain in the morning

Fantastic location so easy to get up the mountain in the morning. Nice and cosy and easy to warm up with the wood fire. Also great to have the heaters to warm the bedrooms. However we did have problem with the fuses in the plugs blowing and the oven is very old and was very dirty and smokey.

  • property was warm an location was great

property was warm an location was great. however the property needed repairs and some areas where very old. the cooker is old and a fire hazard being so close the the wall. the door in one of the bedrooms was hanging off the wall. we enjoyed our stay but for $250 per night expected a higher standard of accomodation. but overall we enjoyed our stay.

  • Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely bach

Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely bach. Cosy and warm and close to bushwalks and several restaurants at the Junction. Beds were comfortable and nicely made up with fresh linen. Lounge and kitchen small but very comfortable and well equipped. Logburner and electric heater for every room a bonus. Nice sense of tradition about the place being an ex railway cottage
