Whether you are sunbathing, Swimming, snorkelling, fishing or just picnicing on the beach under the pohutakawas, this beach is one of the best that Waiheke Island has to offer. Here there is also excellent dining at restaurants where you can enjoy coffee, lunch or dinner overlooking this beautiful beach.
Public transport is available at the front gate of this Waiheke holiday home, where you can catch a bus to almost anywhere in the island including the biggest selection of shops and fine restaurants at Oneroa (25 minutes), the supermarket (5 minutes), the ferry terminal at Matiatia (30 minutes) for days shopping in the city or the Saturday morning market at Ostend. Also on the bus route is the the golf course just 1km away, Onetangi sports park for tennis, mountain bike riding, rugby, soccer etc 2kms away. Other activities including horse riding, kayaking, bush walks, fishing etc are available for you to enjoy. Take a morning walk 200m to the local gas station for your milk, bread, morning paper and other groceries.
This holiday home and sleep out combined are particularly suitable for families and couples alike and can sleep up to twelve people. It is on a flat section level, with the road.
The house has two levels. Upstairs has a large open plan bedroom with Queen sized bed, a bedroom with three single beds and a toilet with vanity for washing purposes. Downstairs has an open plan dining and lounge area, a third bedroom with a king sized single bed with a pullout trundle bed which converts the bed to a king sized double bed, and a bed settee. Special conditions: *Competent towing and reversing skills are required as the driveway is narrow with no turning capability.* To help you enjoy your last day, and ensure the property is in top condition for every guest, a mandatory departure clean applies to this property. The fee for this is additional to the nightly rate, and pricing is available when making your booking, subject to your group size. If the sleepout is required, it must be booked for the entirety of the booking. As shown in the photos, there are bedrooms on the second level and due to a low wall and large drop to the bottom level it is not recommend that these are used as bedrooms for children. Pretty old property and full of mosquitos. However it was very clean and the fireplace was lovely to use. I don’t think they mentioned we needed to bring our own tea towels or toilet paper, but neither were provided which I thought was pretty ridiculous for a 2 night stay.

Our guest T&C's do state that if guests are bringing their own linen that this includes bringing tea towels, however there should have been sufficient toilet paper for your stay.
