Couldn’t wash our clothes because the first load came out smelling like fish. No overflow fridge as advertised, which posed a problem. Couldn’t find the hairdryer. Great location, lovely views, nice fenced section
The living area is great. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge/dining room opens up to the deck with a view of the small lake with ducks. Bathrooms were fine too. We did have some problems with the bedrooms. The bedrooms in the house have doors which do no latch closed so we needed to use doorstops to keep doors closed. The sleepout room has ancient beds which should have been taken to the dump about a decade ago. Suggest check if the single beds have been replaced before you book.
The property was everything you expected from the photos - bar the location. The property is tucked down a right of way with no beach views, or even sea glimpses for that matter. The house itself was very lovely and quirky. Clean and tidy, recently redecorated in part. Lovely fire, lots of games and magazines - even a cat :-) Modern kitchen, etc.
